Instructions
- In a large bowl cream butter and sugar. Add egg & molasses & mix again.
- In a separate bowl combine flour, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, baking soda, and salt.
- Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients & mix until combined.
- Roll dough into 1” balls and then roll in sugar.
- Bake at 350° for 8 minutes. Do NOT overbake, these cookies will be soft & delicious! Optional white chocolate dipping
- Let cookies cool to room temperature before dipping in white chocolate.
- Heat white chocolate in a double boiler until melted & smooth. Dip the corner of each cookie and place on wax paper until cooled completely.
