Fruit Scones
Ingredients
Cover in very hot water for 5 minutes, drain thoroughly

dried apricots, cranberries, or frozen blueberries
Mix in a mixing bowl

brown sugar

cold butter cut into chunks
Mix together and stir in just till mixed:

sour cream

large egg yolk

orange zest
Instructions
Prepare

Preheat oven to 400°

Turn the dough out onto a floured surface. Pat into two 6” disks. Cut the disks into wedges and place them on an ungreased baking sheet with room around them to expand. Bake 12 min. or until golden.

Glaze

Allow to cool till warm, and prepare to drizzle with glaze.

Glaze: mix powdered sugar, vanilla and orange juice together, and pour on top of baked scones.
